We posted a couple of weeks ago that the SF Pride board was accepting nominations for Pride Grand Marshals including Community Grand Marshal (a local hero), Organizational Grand Marshal (nonprofit LGBTQ contributing organization), and Pink Brick Award Recipient (an entity/person that has harmed LGBTQ).

Well today is the last day to submit your nominations so if you have been putting it off take some time this morning to get them in before the close of their General Membership meeting this afternoon (can’t find a time).

The Pride website states,

When submitting nominations for Community Grand Marshals, please include a contact for the nominee, as well as a brief description of their important contributions.

Send suggestions by February 11 to [email protected]; and please indicate the category (Community, Organizational, Pink Brick) for which the individual or organization has been nominated.

There is no limit to the number of nominations you can send in, they just need to follow the criteria above. The Board of Directors may select a maximum slate of 10 Community Grand Marshals for the public ballot.
