A lot of news gets reported every day in the City of San Francisco. Sometimes it’s easy to get stuck in our little bubble here in the Castro so we decided to create a somewhat regular post linking to some of the San Francisco news we thought was important or entertaining. We’re titling it, “Required Reading” and hope that you find our selections interesting and informative.

  • 5 SF Police Officers Indicted for Extortion, Drug Dealing [SFist]
  • After a Google Glass altercation in the Lower Haight [Haighteration], another person attacked for using unpopular tech in unwelcome space [The Snitch]
  • Governor Jerry Brown Announces run for fourth term on Twitter [SFGate]
  • Pride announces Grand Marshal Nominees [BAR]

If you’re in the tech industry in SF, Joe Fitzgerald from the SF Bay Guardian wants your help.
