Castro Cash Mob this Thursday

After some relative success last Thursday with the inaugural Castro Cash Mob, we’re going to do it again, as promised. This time we’re going to change things up a little bit. We’re going to meet up at Harvey Milk Plaza at 6:30PM this Thursday and decide where we want to go from there as a group. I will also try to make up some special Castro Cash Mob stickers that we can wear, because stickers are fun!

It was also fun to talk with neighbors about what’s happening in the ‘hood so bring some juicy tidbits with you to talk about over dinner.

We’ll see you out there!

I love the Cash Mob idea!! Thank you for doing this. We all want to live in a neighborhood that is thriving and successful. And especially a neighborhood with merchants that provide jobs for our people. Here’s hoping to several more successful Cash Mobs.

Hi Everyone, I am glad to be back. The CBD has collected $2.8M in fees from Castro property owners since 2008 to help foster “district identity.” Instead of using it on cleaning up extra garbage, have them write a nice size check to “Castro Merchants.” Problem solved.
