Sidewalk Sale in the Castro Saturday

With the Castro’s sidewalks now much wider and free of fencing (at least until construction picks up again after Pride), the Castro Merchants group will be holding their annual sidewalk sale this Saturday, June 21st. The event usually happens in May during San Francisco Small Business Week, but sidewalk construction in May made it impossible for anything to stand freely on Castro’s sidewalks save for a few garbage cans and some slooowwww moving pedestrians. Castro Merchants worked with the city to hold off the event till this weekend.

Local businesses are being encouraged to set out a table with some of their wares and engage with local residents and tourists to help build awareness of new and existing businesses in the Castro.

Come out tomorrow and support the Castro area merchants!
