I haven’t yet posted anything about Chris Kohrs aka the “Hot Cop of Castro”, not because I don’t think he is hot, but because I feel like everyone has heard about this guy ad nauseam. Well I’m jumping into the fray to report that a fan, Nate Tatterson, has put together a Facebook Fan Page where people who are curious about what’s going on in Kohrs’ life can get up to the minute updates in their Facebook “News” Feed.

The SFPD officer that has been making appearances in the Castro, craning necks and getting guys (and girls) hot and bothered, had this to say to the original photographer, Mark Abramson,

“Right on Mark. I appreciate your support. As more people tune in, it is inevitable that there will be a few that disapprove for whatever reasons. I hope this individual better understands the history, including the difficult times that the LGBT community went thru in the past and that we’re only trying to bring positivity to the future. The community has came a long way since the riots and I feel the SFPD has too. I hope our relations with the LGBT community keep improving! That would put a smile on MY face. And yes…that’s what it’s all about my friend.
Chris”

Awe, what a sweetie.

If you haven’t heard about this guy yet, here is a list news postings that have been obsessively blogged and reblogged about the affectionately and aptly named “Hot Cop of Castro”:

Incidentally, today happens to be Mark’s birthday, and you know what he’d like more than anything else in the whole world? (Besides a date with Chris?) For you to go to Books Inc. and buy his excellent memoir of the worst of the AIDS years in San Francisco, “For My Brothers.” Or any of his books. :)

I know I wouldn’t have used “ad nauseam” (a Latin term for a discussion that has continued so long that it has continued “to [the point of] nausea”) in this case. ;-)

  3. As a companion piece can we also push the Facebook page of the “hot” felon that was soaking cotton panels across America for 5 minutes last week?

Sounds like we all need a good fuck.
